The Broadcast Component of the Microsoft® Solution for Intranets (MSI) is a Microsoft SharePoint™ Portal Server workspace. Cierra Business Solutions uses this workspace is used to deploy and distribute an audio/video broadcast environment for announcements, meetings or other content that you wish to deliver through the company intranet.

Today, this communication is done mostly through e-mail and documents posted on the corporate intranet. For urgent announcements, company meetings are often scheduled.
